Donate or Pledge to LAEF Today!

The 2020-21 suggested donation is $1,200 per student or $120/month per student. Gifts of any amount are appreciated. Since some LASD families may not be in a position to contribute this year, please consider giving at a higher level if you are able.

We gladly accept contributions by Check or Cash, Credit Card (one time or monthly payments), Pledge, Gifts of Stock, Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Grants, Estate Planning, or through our LAEF Endowment. Tribute Gifts in Honor or Memory are welcome.

Payment Methods

LAEF accepts donations by any one of the payment options below. Checks are preferred since there are no processing fees associated with this method. 

Option 1: Check or Cash

Make your check payable to LAEF and mail it to LAEF at PO Box 98, Los Altos CA 94023. Alternatively, you can drop cash or a check in the LAEF box in your school's office.

Option 2: Credit Card: One-Time Donation

You can pay with a credit/debt card or via your PayPal account.

Option 3: Credit Card: Monthly Donation

You must have or create a PayPal account in order to make an online Monthly Donation.

To make a Monthly Donation by mail, fill out the  LAEF Gift Form 2020-21 and mail it to LAEF at PO Box 98, Los Altos CA 94023.

Option 4: Pledge today and fulfill your Pledge by 6.30.21

Option 5: Gifts of Stock

Reduce your capital gains taxes by gifting to LAEF a highly appreciated security at its present market value to LAEF. Simply contact the LAEF office at admin@laefonline.org or (650) 559-0445 with the name of the stock you’re transferring and the number of shares you wish to donate. Tribute donations in Memory or Honor are welcome.

Option 6: Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Grants

A grant from your donor-advised fund now will make an impact on students in the district. You can recommend a gift to LAEF by contacting your financial institution or foundation and providing this information: Los Altos Educational Foundation, Tax ID #94-2862793. Tribute donations in Memory or Honor are welcome. Please notify us by contacting the LAEF office at admin@laefonline.org or (650) 559-0445.

Option 7: Estate Planning

LAEF's Endowment Fund is designed to provide a long term, stable source of financial assistance to the district. Through this Fund, LAEF can accept individual donations, including gifts of securities, property, life insurance, and other estate planning contributions. Tribute donations in Memory or Honor are welcome.
